Nick Adenhart walked five batters again. But, this time it was over 4 1/3 innings, getting pulled after walking Billy Butler and Alex Gordon consecutively with an out in the fifth. Darren Oliver relieved and retired the next two hitters on strike outs. Adenhart was shaky again during his time, but he wasn't awful like the other night. He had a rough second inning, allowing two runs, walking two and giving up two doubles and then consecutive doubles in the third scored the Royals' third run. Garret Anderson has driven in all four Angels' runs thus far, three on a home run in the fourth and another on a fifth-inning single. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |

Why did Scioscia take out Oliver? Justin Speier is garbage. Get him off the mound. I'd rather watch Adenhart struggle.
Is Jeff Mathis' defense that much better than Mike Napoli? The Angels could use more production from the catcher. All these popups to the catcher tonight sound like Mike Napoli catching tomorrow.
