Anderson Leads Angels Win

Garret Anderson refused to reveal his secret, but whatever it was, it seems to have done him some good.

Anderson had three hits, including a three-run homer, on Tuesday and drove in all five of the Angels' run in their 5-3 victory over Kansas City.

Anderson acknowledged that he made an adjustment, but refused to say what it was.

"It would be very hard to explain," he said. "But there was an adjustment."

Anderson's response to several questions was "You wouldn't understand."

Yet, everyone could understand one thing - he was stinking up the joint lately before Tuesday. He was stuck in a 10 for 54 slump coming into the game.

Though he gave no inkling to what changed, Anderson did say "It's very personal" and left the rest to speculation.
