When the media was allowed to enter the Lakers locker room after they had defeated the Denver Nuggets, 107-101, some one had written a message on the grease board.

It said:

``12 To Show For the Blue Ribbon.''

It means that it will take the Lakers 12 more victories to be crowned NBA champions.

They have won the first four, a 4-0 sweep over the Nuggets.

It takes 16 victories to win an NBA championship.
