Greg Maddux will receive his 17th Gold Glove award prior to Saturday's game. Is it too early to present the 2008 award?

Maddux had five assists in Wednesday's no-decision, including a diving stop of a chopper toward third by Lance Berkman that the soon-to-be 42 year-old Maddux laid out for then got up and easily threw to first for the out.
