Everyone talks about the marine layer that comes in at night, keeping home runs in the park and turning them into long outs. So does that mean that day games at The Big A turn long fly balls into home runs because the heat thins out the air? So far on Wednesday, that's been the case. The Angels have hit four homers - a grand slam from Mike Napoli, solo shots from Garret Anderson and Casey Kotchman and a three-run job by Vladimir Guerrero. Cleveland has hit two homers, a solo blast from Jhonny Peralta and a two-run homer off Kelly Shoppach's bat. |
