Dodgers' Pierre unhappy
Juan Pierre was seen in the clubhouse staring into space looking glum. He declined comment when this reporter approached. The lineup was eventually posted and Pierre wasn't in it. During batting practice, Joe Torre stood side-by-side with Pierre in left field, chatting for nearly 15 minutes. "He's fine," Torre said. "He wants to play."
Comments
Diamond, you quoted Juan Pierre in your Feb. 18th entry as saying, "I'm not going to walk around here salty." Before today, he had the second-most PAs (trailing by a mere one) in all of MLB Spring Training.

Well, so much for being "a good clubhouse guy" like Colletti said. He better get used to this as Ethier looks better and better each day.
I mean, what a classy way to handle competition ... hit below the mendoza line and sulk around the clubhouse refusing comment.
