Aybar, Izturis Work Out at 2B

Erick Aybar will start today's game in Peoria at second base and Maicer Izturis will also work out at the position today in Angels camp.

Even though these two are battling for the starting shortstop job, Manager Mike Scioscia said he needed each of them to be familiar with the position because "they're on our depth chart" at second base.

Izturis has played in 55 career games at second base while Aybar played in 46 games at second last year, his most at any position.
