Jason Schmidt was booed during pregame introductions, presumably because he hasn't produced much after signing a big contract last season. But the Dodgers did not place him on the 60-day disabled list and instead designated Eric Hull for assignment to clear a 40-man roster spot because Schmidt has made some progress. He continues to throw bullpen sessions without setbacks, and next up for him is to throw in simulated games before starting a rehabilitation assignment. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

Why didn't the Dodgers move LaRoche to the 60 day DL, since he is not do back at the earliest until June 1. Understand if Schmidt makes it back sooner, but it would seem that Hull has some value.
