Niedermayer, Perry added to All-Star squad
From hockey reporter Graig Woodburn:
Ducks defenseman Scott Niedermayer and right wing Corey Perry were added to Western Conference squad for Sunday's NHL All-Star game in Atlanta this morning. Center Ryan Getzlaf and captain Chris Pronger had already been selected to play in the contest.
Although he missed the first two months of the season while contemplating retirement, Niedermayer was named as an All-Star for a sixth time
in his career. It will be the first appearance for Perry, a third-year pro who leads the Ducks with 26 goals. For more on Perry, see today's feature at PE.com/sports
