All football, all the time credential

I began the week's immersion in everything-football on a 7 a.m. bus that took me from my hotel to the new (still under construction) Phoenix Convention Center which houses the massive media center. The ever-efficient NFL opened its credential center early, and hooked me up with my pass -- a plastic placard that will hang from my neck all week, granting me access to interviews, press conferences and more media events than I have fingers, toes and hair follicles to count. I will only take this placard off when I shower or sleep -- and even then I may want to keep it on just to make sure I have access to my bed.
