LUNCH BREAK: A slice of Pi for your brown bag to close out the week

TGIF! We made it again. What a week. Just an afternoon to go before we kick off the weekend. Horray. We've got a nice mix of video for your LUNCH BREAK pleasure. Oh, and we threw a slice of Pi into your brown bag.

PI DAY: March 14 is Pi Day, a celebration of the number representing the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. If you want to sing along, here are the lyrics:

3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342117067982148086513282306647093844609550582231725359408128481117450284102 7019385211055596446229489549303819644288109756659334461 . . .

HONEY PI: A Beatles ode to this classic number? Maybe not. That's the late Linda Eastman-McCartney making a cameo in the video.

WHAT'S UP? PE.com Weekend Watch host Jennifer Dean takes us on a tour of the new Quad Art Gallery at Riverside Community College's city campus, where you'll see a show of ceramics by renowned artist Don Reitz. ALSO: Get details on weekend IE performances of the Moody Blues, Jack Jones and the La Quinta Art Festival. Whew.

HI-YOOOOOO! Ed McMahon, the late Johnny Carson's sidekick on the before-Jay-Leno Tonight Show, is getting better after surgeries for a broken neck suffered in a fall last year, according to E!. He was the voice behind the show's "Heeeerrrre's Johnny" signature and was Carson's straight man in a ton of comedy skits. Ed's had-a-few on this clip from a flashback show.

SPITZER-MANIA: Jeepers, what a week for scandal and the state of New York. The only thing crazier than the saga of Eliot Spitzer was the media frenzy surrounding it. CNN's Jeanne Moos puts it all in perspective.

FINALLY: Let's close out today's visit with a video from the legendary Gypsy Kings, who performed in the IE this week. Here, you'll fine 'em live in a short take from Abbey Road.

Have a great afternoon and a safe, restful weekend. We'll see you here Monday at noon to kick off another week's LUNCH BREAK.
