Roasting A.J.

As we wrote this morning, Chargers general manager A.J. Smith has been hearing it from all sides in light of the team's 1-2 start.

Some examples:

Michael Silver of Yahoo.com checks in.

Here, Marty Schottenheimer says he believes the Chargers will turn it around. (But is he just being polite?)

Another who doesn't think so: Mark Kreidler of ESPN.com.

Here's the take from Charles Bricker of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

And here's a view from North Carolina after the loss in New England, suggesting Philip Rivers' lack of comfort with Norv Turner's offensive system.

Meanwhile, here's the transcript of our chat with A.J. (The man does tend to throw sentence fragments out there, doesn't he?)
