LT and Junior

When LaDainian Tomlinson steps on the field Sunday in New England, he'll see old friend Junior Seau on the other side of the line. Seau, who came out of a brief retirement last year to join the Patriots and then suffered a season-ending broken arm, had four unassisted tackles from his inside linebacker position last week against the Jets.

"He's looking good," Tomlinson said. "He's still doing the same things he usually does. He can read a play right away. He can get to the ball. He's communicating like he always does. He's the same old Junior."

Asked what he took away from playing on the same team with Seau for two seasons, Tomlinson said: "My work ethic. I learned from him the way to prepare for a game. I learned how to come out here and practice, and work like you're preparing for a game, getting ready for a game, so when you get into a game it's a lot easier. That's what he taught me."
