NFL executive Gene Washington, a former Stanford and 49ers star receiver, opened Sunday's second day of the draft by saying the "Los Angeles Raiders" were on the clock.
For the record, the Raiders last played in Los Angeles on Dec. 24, 1994. It was overcast and damp and that's how the home team played that day at the LA Coliseum, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in a game where the winner went to the playoffs and the loser, well, would move to Oakland.
