Soaking wet
My seat is in the first row of auxiliary press seating -- that means in the stands. I'd rather have the Bob Uecker seats -- underneath the overhang, out of the steady drizzle. I can't open my laptop out there, and my notebook looks like I spilled a soda on it. They handed out clear plastic ponchos for the reporters in the rain, and we looked like a row of people waiting for a bus in Seattle huddled under a tarp. Needless to say, after the first quarter, I opted for the cover of the press tent where I get to watch the game like the rest of the dry world -- on TV. Not much atmosphere in here and I miss the live Prince show, but I'm hoping I dry up before the game ends. Bad hair day, for sure.
