Raiders news

NFL Network: The Raiders are moving Robert Gallery back to right tackle and moving Barry Sims back to left tackle.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Gallery moved positions EVERY year since he was drafted as a left tackle out of Iowa? If I've got this right, Gallery has played right tackle, right guard, left tackle and now he's moving back to right guard.

Sims, the left tackle on the Super Bowl team, who seemingly lost his ability to slow the speed rusher the same time Jon Gruden left for Tampa Bay, may have a fighting chance this time if new coach Lane Kiffin will fend off the pressure from above to employ a seven-stop drop. Sims should be just fine protecting the blideside of, say, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound quarterback.
