First rain

Super Bowls are usually played in the sun belt and/or in domed stadiums, which explains why rain is so unusual at a Super Bowl. This was the first one ever played in a rain that fell consistently from start to finish. That's what you tempt when you put your halftime show in the hands of the "Purple Rain" guy.
