Combine ... bad news a-brewin'
The web is hot and heavy with rumors on the eve of the combine. A few we've come across so far:
***USC's Dwayne Jarrett probably won't run the 40. His speed, more than his toughness, appears to be the biggest concern of scouts and the assumed reason his stock has plummeted in mock drafts.
***Ohio State's Ted Ginn Jr. is still recovering from the foot injury suffered in the BCS title game and won't work out.
***Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn may not work out. He's another player who continues to slip in mock drafts.
***Georgia Tech receiver Calvin Johnson may wait until his pro day to run the 40.
