About this Norv thing

Based on his history as a generally failed head coach, the initial reaction to the Norv Turner hire in San Diego was simply that they had traded in one of the winningest head coaches in NFL history for one of the worst simply because the egos of AJ Smith and Marty Schottenheimer wouldn't allow for a compromise. But the more I listen to the Chargers reasoning (or spin) and the more I read the analysis of seasoned NFL reporters, the more I'm beginning to move toward the Kool-Aid with a desire to take a sip.

Turner knows how to develop young quarterbacks and maximize the abilities of running backs. He hasn't had a team with this much ability since he was the OC of the Super Bowl Dallas Cowboys.
