Nice ride

Super Bowl participants used to use the platform to sell their personalities, but you don't see as much of that anymore. Anybody remember Denver's Three Amigos? I remember the Three Amigos because the Broncos wide receivers gave themselves a nickname and hammed it up at a Super Bowl two decades ago. Not that I remember their names. Vance Johnson, maybe? Anyway, these days it's all about team, team, team. Someone on the Bears recommended Thomas Jones as a flashy personality, but his most notable move today was getting up from his table, walking to the adjacent parking lot and showing off a burnt orange Ferrari -- his latest purchase in a growing collection of cars. So far, an automobile is the most flambuoyant animate or inanimate thing at Super Bowl XLI.
