Indy a day late
The Colts arrived in Miami on Monday night -- more than 24 hours after the Bears. Indy coach Tony Dungy said it was to give his players an extra day Sunday to spend at church or with their families. It also gave the Colts one less day having to deal with media, nightlife and fan distraction. Hmm, very smart. Edge Colts.
The Bears came in on Sunday because Chicago coach Lovie Smith felt it would help the team get acclimated to the Super Bowl atmosphere sooner, thus allowing them to get to work sooner. Hmm, very smart. Edge Bears.
