Ultimate teen idol playlist
Forget the chrome-domed Joey Lawrence from "Dancing With the Stars," teen idol Joey said there was nothing his love couldn't fix!
The more I thought about the New Kids on the Block reunion, I decided I need to pump some teen idol music through my ears. This was also probably a result of surfing YouTube into the wee hours of the morning trying to recapture my youth with old NKOTB videos.
But while Donnie, Danny, Jon, Jordan and Joe made 10-year-old girls lose their voices long before the Backstreet Boys ever did, teen idols seem to come around more often than bad fashion trends. Even cavemen probably had their own version of David Cassidy (but the hair was probably more scraggly than feathered).
Even, Hilary Rodham was the president of her high school's Fabian fan club.
As for the current state of music, there are Jonas Brothers concerts in L.A. this weekend, which sold out the Gibson Ampitheater in 2 minutes.
So with those things in mind, I have decided to go with a Teen Idol Playlist. Please, add your suggestions.
