If you're coming out to the Stagecoach Festival this weekend, be sure to enjoy the barbecue and the chili.

The Kansas City Barbeque Society will be holding its California state championships at the festival this weekend. Last year the barbecue competition was a big hit. This year, teams are competing for $30,000 in cash and prizes.

This year, if ribs aren't your thing, try the chili cookoff happening on Sunday. Hopefully the weather will be a little cooler than last week, otherwise I will only be wishing for gazpacho chili and that just sounds wrong.
