The Stagecoach Country Music Festival just became a little more like Warped Tour.
Mike Ness, leader of Orange County punk outfit Social Distortion, has added the date to a slate of solo shows, according to his Web site.

Ness will play the opening day of the festival, May 2. The second annual event runs through May 4 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio and will be headlined by the Eagles, the Judds, Tim McGraw, Big & Rich, Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood, John Fogerty and more.
While Ness is known for the rock sounds of Social Distortion, he released outlaw country-flavored solo album, "Cheating at Solitaire," in 1999.
Tickets for Stagecoach are on sale through Ticketmaster. Single day passes in the general admission area are $99 each and a three-day pass is $249. A three-day pass with a reserved seat is $545.
