The Jonas Brothers in Perris

The first ones arrived at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, more than 15 hours before the concert. By 6 p.m., the general admission line wrapped back and forth along a long chain of fence a few times.

And at 7:30 p.m., the Lake Perris Fairgrounds arena transformed into a field of dreams for the thousands of fans ready to rock out to Disney heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers.

The screams were loud. And high-pitched. But some fans, such as Samantha Haun from Victorville, already lost their voice from screaming before the band of brothers even took the stage.

"I have been waiting 18 months to see them," Haun said.

She said she lost her voice from staying up all night--too excited for the concert.

Krysten Wise, 14, Brittany Pittock, 14, and younger sister McKenna, 7, flew from Redding to go to the show. They had to take two planes. The last time they saw the band, they met the brothers.

Stephanie Crow of Oceanside brought presents for the guys, after researching some of their favorite things. She waited in line with Godiva chocolates, a red rose and a small stuffed Baloo the bear from "The Jungle Book."
