Service Plus Credit Union presented its fourth annual "People Helping People" Award to University of California, Riverside, staff member Emily Nudge, from the University Honors Program. Nudge was recognized for her exemplary contributions to the Riverside community.

"We received many qualified applications this year," states Sharilyn Hunke, chairman of the People Helping People Award and Service Plus employee. "But Emily's attitude really stood out from the rest." For the last four years, Nudge has donated her time as a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister program. "Emily is recently married but many of the years she volunteered, she was a single mother. She had very little free time, and she used it to make the difference in a little girl's life."
