Trauma Intervention Programs Inc. is looking for volunteers to provide emotional first aid and practical support to victims of traumatic events.
Volunteers are called to emergency scenes by police, firefighters and hospital ER personnel in Hemet, Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, Perris, Sun City, Temecula, Wildomar, and surrounding areas.
No experience is necessary. An orientation and training class is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct 15. The course consists of four additional week nights from 6 to 9 p.m. and one and a half weekends with graduation at 6 p.m. Oct 25.
