Stroller Strides, the country's largest fitness program for new moms, is celebrating its second anniversary in the Corona and Norco community.
"We are thrilled to have provided the moms in the Corona and Norco area with fitness and social support for two years," said Danielle Rowan, owner of Stroller Strides of Corona and Norco. "We feel our success stems from our dedication to helping moms get fit and giving them an outlet to socialize and have fun."
Since Rowan opened Stroller Strides in September 2006, women in Corona and Norco have been able to get fit through a total fitness program that lets the moms care for their children at the same time.
The program includes power walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing and the stroller. Taught by nationally certified instructors, it's a great workout for any level of exerciser. In 60 minutes, you will get a total body workout improving your cardiovascular endurance, your strength and your flexibility. The classes are equally beneficial for babies as instructors will weave songs through the workout and incorporate activities to make it fun.
In recognition of the anniversary, Stroller Strides of Corona and Norco is holding a special anniversary class on Friday, Sept 12th! To join our celebration contact drowan@strollerstrides.net or call 888.213.2353 .
"It's exciting to be able to offer moms a means of enjoyment and fitness," said Rowan.
