A local retirement community plans to hold a back-to-school fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Rancho Cucamonga.

The Valencia Commons retirement community plans to hold the Back-to-School Fundraiser and Dessert from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 6729 Hermosa Ave., Rancho Cucamonga.

The event is open to the public, and guests will be admitted with a donation of school supplies. The fundraiser benefits Deer Canyon Elementary School in Rancho Cucamonga. Deadline for reservations is Sept. 11.
