Local resident helps new students at Chadron State College in Nebraska

CHADRON, NE (08/27/2008)(readMedia)-- Matt Crider of Hesperia, Calif., was one of 35 students who helped lead Chadron State College's orientation activities for new students Aug. 21-24.

As a New Student Orientation Leader, Crider helped many of the 560-plus new students become acquainted with their new surroundings and get ready for the first day of classes, which was Monday, Aug. 25.

Crider, a 2006 graduate of Sultana High School, is a junior studying criminal justice. His parents are Mike and Kim Crider of Hesperia.

CSC, which has more than 50 programs of study, is a member of the Nebraska State College System. More information about CSC and its many opportunities is available online at www.csc.edu.
