3 UA Commits Up for Grabs?

The TV satellite trucks still surrounded McKale Arena at the University of Arizona at 5 p.m. Friday with fans, media and basketball players everywhere.

This Lute Olson resigning story is a big deal down here.

But as the USC football team made its walkthrough next door in Arizona Stadium, there was a lot going on in the basketball arena that could affect USC and UCLA.

First of all, it looks like Arizona might lose its top three basketball commits for next season with Olson's departure.

Two could be in the sightlines of USC, which came close before they commited to Arizona.

LA Fairfax HS four-star Solomon Hill, a 6-6, 195-pound small forward, decommited on the news and now uschoops.com is reporting the USC coaches have set a meeting for Saturday with Hill and his father.

But UCLA could be an even bigger winner if 6-3 five-star point guard Abdul Gaddy of Tacoma (Wash.) Bellarmine Prep rethinks his chhoice, which he seems to be doing. Washington may have the inside track but UCLA was right there.

Another Wildcat decommit, 6-7 small forward Mike Moser from Portland, Ore. Grant HS, who was also interested in USC, is apparently back on the market.

Should be interesting.
