Freshman tailback Aundre Dean said that while there were some bright spots in the scrimmage, that he was left with a feeling that the Bruins have a lot of work left to do before the Sept. 1 opener against Tennesse.
And Dean didn't leave out any of the units, saying that everybody needed to improve.
"We have a lot of work to do before we play Tennessee, and that's the bottom line," Dean said. "The coaches know that, we know that, the offensive line knows that, the receivers know that and the defense knows that. It's all on us. We have to fix it and we'll fix it in good time."
