UCLA quarterback Pat Cowan, who will miss this season because of an ACL injury sustained in spring practice, has yet to have surgery and will do so sometime in August, coach Rick Neuheisel said.
Because Cowan is out for the year, there was no rush to have the surgery done to push his rehab as quickly as possible. Instead, Cowan has apparently been enjoying his summer.
"He decided to be a regular college student and go on a couple of trips this summer," Neuheisel said.
