UCLA's Russell Westbrook worked out for the Knicks last Tuesday and the Sonics on Saturday, two teams that have a clear need at point guard. UCLA coach Ben Howland said that he was hearing Westbrook is a near-certain lottery pick, and most reports seem to back that up. The Knicks are interested at No. 6 and it seems unlikely he'd slide past both the Pacers at No. 11 and the Kings at No. 12.
For those nostalgic for Westbrook's UCLA days, I've got something that should provide at least a little consolation. Here's a terrific YouTube highlight video compiled by someone who obviously has access to footage of Westbrook from way back in his high school days at Leuzinger.
