This flew under the radar over the weekend, but Pepperdine transfer Malcolm Thomas has signed with San Diego State, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. UCLA liked Thomas enough to host an on-campus visit last month, but the coaching staff's interest in the springy forward appeared to wane as J'Mison Morgan and now Alex Stepheson became more viable options.
