BCS Better Get With It

Let's say you're one of the BCS high muckey-mucks and you check out this year's final rankings and what do you see.

Well, for one thing, you see a two-loss Virginia Tech team that played in probably the worst of the six BCS conferences, a Va. Tech team that lost by 41 points, yep forty-one, to LSU.

And then you check your rankings and find that this team, this team with a 41-point loss from that not-very-good league was No. 1 in the nation on three of the six computers used by the BCS.

Here's a thought. New computer rankings that somehow are able to factor in margin of victory -- or more appropriately this year, defeat.
