Beating the Buzzer
USC point guard recruit Angelo Johnson, the Minnesota native by way of Stoneridge Prep, finally made it through the NCAA Clearinghouse.
And did so on the last day a player could do so for this semester. An aggressive 5-foot-10 ball-distributor and defender, Johnson finishes out the picture of this year's USC team that did not have a small, quick player on the roster until Johnson was ruled eligible.
He would be the final piece, USC Coach Tim Floyd said last week, for a young but talented Trojans team that won't much look like last year's team.
