Broderick Green Cleared

Pete Carroll has been contending all August long that Broderick Green would be cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Friday morning, that's just what happened for the 240-plus pound freshman running back from Little Rock who has been impressive in preseason work the 14 days he's been allowed to practice.

Green will now be able to practice today, adding needed depth to a suddenly thinned-out USC tailback spot. With his clearance delayed, Green has not been able to practice the last two days.

Green's clearance means that all of USC's recruit class have made it through the Clearinghouse.
