They've fallen, and they can't get up

- Randy Wolf resumed playing catch today. But with minor league seasons ending the first week of September, there won't be enough time for Wolf to regain his full arm strength with a rehab assignment. Best case scenario, he is hoping to return as a reliever.

- Hong-Chih Kuo played catch today for the first time in about a week. After throwing previously, he experienced more elbow irritation. Chin-hui Tsao did not make the trip and will not resume a throwing program until next week. Neither throwing program will be aggressive because of their history with arm troubles.

- Tony Abreu has suffered a setback to his abdominal strain. He left during Sunday's game and hasn't been able to play since. The Dodgers continue to seek medical opinions on Abreu, and offseason surgery is a possibility.
