Just got the lineup for todays game and Nomar Garciaparra will be starting at third base tonight, with James Loney at first.
Garciaparra, who was also dropped from third to sixth in the order, was not supposed to start at 3B until Friday. Not sure why this move comes a few days earlier than expected, especially after he only took ground balls for one day (Monday) at the position.
More details to come once I get back from the clubhouse.

Josh Rawitch reported on his blog that Nomar took more grounders at third this afternoon at 1:30.
Might as well start this experiment right away and gather as much information as possible before July 31, only five weeks away.
