Overturned semi blocks westbound Interstate 10

A semi-truck hauling fruit hit a motorcycle about 3 a.m. today on westbound Interstate 10 near Mountain View Avenue in San Bernardino.

There were only minor injuries, but the semi jackknifed and blocked all westbound lanes, San Bernardino County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol said.

The two innermost lanes were reopened about 6:30 a.m., CHP Officer Derek Williams said this morning by phone.

The remaining lanes were likely to be blocked for two or three more hours, Williams said.
