A lottery ticket worth $185,818 from the latest Mega Millions draw was sold at an Indio pharmacy, California Lottery officials said today.
The ticket, sold at Long’s Drug Store No. 12 at 49980 Jefferson St., had the first five numbers for yesterday’s draw, but not the Mega number, according to the store manager, who said California Lottery officials called her with the news.
The ticket holder has not claimed his or her prize.
Five other tickets — two each sold in Georgia and New York and one in Virginia — also had five numbers, but didn’t have the Mega number. Each of those tickets are worth $250,000. California law requires that all payouts be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.
Because there were no tickets sold with all six numbers for yesterday’s draw, the jackpot for Friday’s drawing will be $83 million.
