A diesel fuel spill from an overturned big rig on Interstate 215 in Riverside prompted all northbound lanes to be shut down briefly today while crews worked to clear the scene, authorities said.
The accident just south Columbia Avenue was reported around 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, said California Highway Patrol Officer Albert Graciano. No injuries were reported.
Two lanes were blocked, and crews were sent to clean up some diesel fuel that spilled from the truck, Graciano said. During the cleanup, all northbound lanes were closed briefly, he said.
All northbound lanes were cleared by 5:48 a.m. today, said Graciano.
