The Census Bureau just put out new numbers that put Texas at the top of a not so desirable list--those of the uninsured. More Texans go without health insurance than any other state.

In fact, more than 25 percent of Texans are without health insurance.

These are numbers from 2008.

To give you an idea of how bad it is--nationally, "the number of people without health insurance coverage rose from 45.7 million in 2007 to 46.3 million in 2008, while the percentage remained unchanged at 15.4 percent."
