Black & Decker is recalling more than a half million coffee makers today because they may pose a burn hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the brew basket on the Black & Decker brand Spacemaker Coffeemakers can shift out of alignment causing the hot water to overflow. There have been 235 reports of this happening.

Ten people have suffered second degree burns.

Look for these model numbers on the back of the coffee maker:
ODC440, ODC440B, ODC450 and ODC460.

Major retailers like K-Mart, Kohl's, Target, Wal-Mart, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Amazon.com all sold the coffeemakers from March 2006 through March 2009.

You should stop using the coffeemakers and call 1-866-668-4442 to get a free replacement brew basket or visit the company's website.
