Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's in Austin for a lunchtime fundraiser at the historic Driskill Hotel. Governor Rick Perry is set to attend, but his office says the event is closed press.

Gov. Bobby Jindal is spending part of his last week before the legislative session begins raising campaign cash in Texas. Jindal will be in Austin, Texas, today for a second fundraising stop at The Driskill Hotel.

On Tuesday, the Republican governor was in Dallas, first for a private meeting with oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens, then for an evening fundraiser at a private residence.

The governor must cease his fundraising activities Monday when the Legislature convenes for its regular session. He cannot accept contributions again until 30 days after the session ends June 25.
