Yes, Virginia, We Have A Calendar

The full Texas House has yet to vote on a single bill this session, but that changes tomorrow. The House posted a calendar!!! (Also known as their daily agenda).

"Isn't that somethin'?" said state Rep. Delwin Jones, R-Lubbock.

"I've been practicing pressing my voting button all session long," joked state Rep. Elliott Naishtat, D-Austin. "Now I actually get to use it."

The first bill up? HB 873, aimed at bringing back wayward film and game makers who are offered better incentives to film in neighboring states. The bill lowers the standards for filmmakers to receive tax incentives from Texas.

There's too much politics in Texas to fit into a newscast, so the fun continues here.
