Tickets, Packets, Pistols and More...

gifts.jpgI've always loved those USA Today stat boxes (or, as they call them, "Snapshots") on the bottom left-hand corner of each of their section fronts. In third grade, I cut them out and decorated my notebooks with them.

That said, I thought this handy box for Stiles' story on lobbyists' gifts to state lawmakers was interesting. I was most surprised that circus tickets were such a popular gift. Why go to the circus when you work at the lege, yaknowwhatImean?
