I loved this photo of the Texas delegation at the GOP convention, from NYT photographer Damon Winter (formerly of The Dallas Morning News). I thought some readers might recognize a Texas buddy or to in this photo. Enjoy:

There's too much politics in Texas to fit into a newscast, so the fun continues here.

No friends of MINE!
I see a lot of hat, but I don't see any cattle. Same as usual.
Sarah Palin is a REAL woman--not a man wanna be..
What makes you think she wasn't vetted???
Don't you think that John McCain can accept the so-called negatives re: her??? He knew and knows and sees. Just because you don't agree, doesn't mean that he is unable to accept a woman who can be a real mom and a real executive!!
Maryella with the excess punctuation:
What are you talking about? Defensive much? What you're defending against wasn't addressed at all, either in the original post or the resulting comments. Are you just spamming earth with that message or what?
Is it true that Perry's name is on these matching outfit? Wouldn't it be unusual for the Governor to get his name on such gear and might some of Kay Baily's fans be a little uncomfortable advertising for a likely rival?
