General Wesley Clark is bouncing all over Texas with Democratic US Senate candidate Rick Noreiga. He started at a Dallas fundraiser on Wednesday. Then he came down to Austin to deliver the keynote at last night's opening of Netroots Nation. Afterwards, Texas bloggers hosted him at the Netroots Nation kickoff party. I stopped by long enough to take an out-of-focus picture and listen to some speeches.
Noriega went on with a high-decibel delivery of his usual talking points, with a welcome to the out-of-towners thrown in here and there. 3 CommentsLeave a comment |
Elise Hu is KVUE's Political Reporter and your dedicated blogger. There's too much politics in Texas to fit into a newscast, so the fun continues here. Email your ideas and feedback to ehu@kvue.com.

Why no coverage Elise? Is there a bias? That couldn't be possible could it?!?!
Conservative Pundit: I'm sorry you didn't catch our 6pm newscast on Friday, in which the Netroots convention and the Right Online convention were covered together in one piece.
The liberal audience complained the press gave too much coverage to the conservative conference by giving it equal weight/time in stories, which is what happened in our piece.
You (presumably part of the conservative audience) seem to complain there was NO coverage, when in fact that is not accurate.
Please watch our newscasts before getting upset about "no coverage".
